Train, bus booking facilities to be available for PIA passengers abroad: Sarwar

On Thursday, 16 January, Ghulam Sarwar khan (Minister for Aviation) said: PIA and a multinational company Access Rail had decided to work jointly to provide train and bus ticket booking facility to the passengers of national airline of Pakistan. 

On his twitter account the Minister for Aviation said: “Now, the PIA passengers would also be able to get the tickets for rail and road travel in different countries including Spain, Canada, Norway and Britain.” 

He further said: 

“On completion of their air journey, the PIA passengers would reach their respective destinations without any difficulty through train and bus. And all booking details would be available on PIA tickets.” 

Mr. Sarwar said that under the partnership, various transport companies as VIA Rail, RENFE, Avanti West Coast, VI, and Great Western Railways would offer facilities for travelers going to Canada, Norway, Spain and Britain respectively.
