Airport Hell: Glasgow passengers’ misery after being stuck in Turkey as Thomas Cook gives up hope of private rescue After the damage of Thomas Cook flight at Turkish airport, the hundreds of Scottish passengers have told about their anxiety. More than 300 travelers are currently trapped in Antalya, they were flying to Glasgow. The Scottish passenger told that he and his wife are stuck in Antalya due to the plane stranded in Turkey and they were going to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Another passenger Atif Ali said that “We waited for one and a half hours, the plane began to move and after that pilot declared that we had been delayed due to the engine fault.” He added that “We were left stranded on plane, the kids were crying and the other people were obtaining upset. It was terrible. You are at the trip for a vacation and you are already stressed and you simply need to urge back home. ” Atif further told that “Thomas Cook staff eventually same to present USA drinks and sandwiches and told USA to gather our luggage as they had organized for buses to require to hotels that had set aside.” It is reported that Thomas Cook had hoped to stay its airlines within the UK, Northern Europe and Germany whereas holding its British tour operational arm fail. But the set up was seen as being too advanced – with the corporate still scrambling to plug its £200 million funding gap.
